Wesley Church, Dum Dum completed its hundredth year in 2018. Founded in the year 1918, the church recently turned hundred. A special dedication day service was held at the church to commemorate this feat.

Rt Reverend Paritosh Canning Bishop of Barrackpore (C.N.I.) was the Chief Guest while Rt Reverend Brojen Malakar former Bishop of Barrackpore was the Guest of Honour.

A procession was organized with the Bishop and the other members who entered the church accompanied with the song “Agrosor hou aji”. A special prayer was organized for the deceased individuals. Christo Jisu was sung next by the church choir. Different prayers were done at intervals followed by songs by the choir.

Thus the hundredth year celebration of Wesley Church was a grand occasion and was attended by the members.
