Ilish Utsav 2025 kick-started at Pride Plaza Kolkata to give the Hilsa lovers a taste of the Queen of the Fishes.

Hilsa holds a great place in the hearts of the Bengalis. And monsoon is incomplete without gorging on good Hilsa. It is during the monsoon that Hilsa boasts the best flavor and amazing tenderness.

The nutrient-rich Hilsa fish, sometimes referred to as Ilish, has many health advantages. It supports heart health, brain function, and general well-being since it is a wonderful source of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and vital vitamins and minerals.

The festival will not only show recipes but also aptly celebrate the culture and craftsmanship.

Chef Tagar has curated the amazing Hilsa recipes for the festival.

Some of the offerings in this festival are Ilish Macher Tok Jhol, Bhapa Ilish, Doi Ilish, Chef Special Ilish Thali, and others.

It will continue till the 31^st of August.

Timing- Lunch timing – 12.30 to 3.30 pm and Dinner – 7.30 pm onwards
