The premiere of the upcoming Bengali film Konttho took place in the presence of director Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Paoli Dam, Jaya Ahsan and others.

The story of ‘Konttho’ narrates the real life story of a laryngeal cancer survivor. In the film, Shiboprosad Mukherjee plays the character of RJ Arjun Mullick who suffers from laryngeal cancer. Paoli Dam plays the role of his wife Pritha and Jaya Ahsan will be seen as a speech therapist.

The film released on 10^th May and has been receiving great appreciation from the critics and the audiences alike.
