The “5 Star Film Awards Bengal & Odia 2025”, scheduled to take place on November 23, 2025, at the esteemed Sheikh Rashid Auditorium in Dubai, will be a spectacular evening honoring the best of Bengali and Odia cinema.

The organizers of this massive worldwide event, RR Events and Cine Production, along with Bhawna Aaj O Kal, recently held a press conference at The Spring Club in Kolkata.

Renowned actress Rituparna Sengupta, film producer and entrepreneur Shri Ramesh Barik, and show director Debraj Ghoshal attended the conference and emphasized the importance of uniting the two culturally rich film industries of Bengal and Odisha on a single international stage.

Also gracing the occasion was Bengali Actor Jeet, Rituparna Sengupta,  Pooja Banerjee, Payel Sarkar, Anirban Chakraborty, Susmita Chatterjee, Trina Saha, Sourasini Moitra, Biswanath Basu, Kanchan Mollick, Lahoma  Bhattacharjee, Film Director Raja Chanda, Joydeep Mukherjee, Singer Iman Chakraborty, Rathijit Bhattacharjee from Bengali Film Industry and renowned actor Kuna Tripathy, Seetal Patra, Sivani Sangita, Boomika, Suryamayee, Diya, Apsara Rani, Sritam Das, Debasish Parta, Singer Satyajit PradhanSinger Bhagyashri Mohanty from Odia Film Industry.

Renowned Indian Actor Moonmoon Sen and renowned Odia actor Mahesweta Ray will be honoured with the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ Award for their excellent contributions.

The show will be directed by renowned Choreographer and Show director Mr. Debraj Ghoshal.

The Dubai event will be graced by Shri Madan Mitra, Hon’ble MLA, as the Chief Guest, along with Shri Ramesh Barik, Rituparna Sengupta, Debraj Ghosal (Show Director), Filmmaker Premendu Bikas Chaki, Mrinmoy Kanjilal, Arnab Saha, and several eminent directors, producers, and artists from both Bengal and Odisha.

Under the direction of film producer Shri Ramesh Barik, RR Events and Cine Production, which has curated major international award shows in Dubai and Singapore, revealed plans for another spectacular cinematic celebration in the UK in May 2026.

The 5 Star Film Awards Bengal & Odia 2025, which honor artistry, talent, and cinematic brilliance, are expected to be a remarkable cultural bridge that unites the film industries of Bengal and Odisha on a global scale.
