The first song of Vijaynagar’er Hirey, Jaatra Shubho Hok, has been released by the film’s makers in response to the positive reaction to the teaser. This marks the start of a brand-new journey within the renowned Kakababu world.

Jaatra Shubho Hok, a moving travel anthem at its core, masterfully conveys the sense of discovery, excitement, and camaraderie. The film’s emotional and narrative tone is established by the song, which was composed by Indraadip Dasgupta, with soulful vocals by Durnibar Saha, and lyrics by Prasen. In terms of visuals, it follows Kakababu (Prosenjit Chatterjee), Santu (Aryann Bhowmik), and Jojo (Pushan Dasgupta) as they set out on their voyage to Hampi, giving viewers a tantalizing look at what’s to come.

The song was released during a special event hosted by the Aditya Group at the Aditya Academy Group of Schools and Aditya School of Sports, providing an appropriate setting for the premiere that mirrored the film’s spirit of inquiry, education, and discovery.

“Every Kakababu journey begins with a sense of purpose and curiosity, and Jaatra Shubho Hok captures that feeling perfectly. It’s more than simply a song; it’s a feeling that marks the beginning of a journey. I think its spirit of exploration and unity will strike a deep chord with the audience,” said Prosenjit Chatterjee.

Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aryann Bhowmik, Pushan Dasgupta, and the whole cast and crew of the movie were present at the song launch ceremony. The crew released several balloons to symbolically commemorate the start of the movie’s journey toward its theatrical premiere, honoring adventure, hope, and the general excitement around the movie.

The identical balloon-flying activity was carried out concurrently in several movie theaters, extending the celebration beyond the launch location and bringing viewers closer to the occasion. SVF Cinemas, Krishnanagar; SVF Cinemas, Hooghly; Nazrultirtha Cinema, Kolkata; SVF Cinemas, Baruipur; SVF Cinemas, Howrah; Vidyasagar Mancha – SVF Cinemas, Kalyani; SVF Cinemas, Narendrapur; and Udayan Cinema, Tarakeswar were the venues for the festivities.

The song, which is based on melody, passion, and narrative, stands out as a distinctive composition by Indraadip Dasgupta. The song has a timeless aspect because of the teamwork of Indraadip Dasgupta, lyricist Prasen, and vocalist Durnibar Saha. It is both narratively driven and memorable on its own.

The song, which is Vijaynagar’er Hirey’s debut musical effort, sets the tone of the movie and reaffirms the franchise’s tradition of music that enhances rather than overpowers narrative.

Directed by Chandrasish Ray and produced by SVF Entertainment and Nideas Productions, Vijaynagar’er Hirey is scheduled to release in theatres on 23rd January 2026.
