The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) joined hands with The Institution of Engineers of India (IEI) to introduce a unique course for the engineering professionals.

Sisir Banerjee (Past President), Dr S Bhattacharya (Secretary and Director General), Dr T M Gunaraja, President, IEI and others graced the occasion.

The Executive Diploma Course on Cost and Management Accounting for Engineers is a first of its kind in India. The eligibility criteria are engineering graduates or final year engineering students. The duration is 6 months. There will be five modules and project work. The course fee is Rs 47500.

The benefit of the course includes advantage for business leadership, decision makers, department heads and so on.

The online admission for the first batch began immediately after the MOU was signed. The participants will be taught through online/offline mode of interactive sessions with study materials. They will be evaluated through MCQ Examinations for each module, to be conducted twice in a year. Participants scoring more than 50% in the examination in each module and obtaining B or higher grade in the project work will be awarded the diploma.

IEI will be soon joining hands with CII which will provide industrial knowledge to the engineers.
