Mother’s Story Journey brought together successful women from a variety of industries to discuss their individual experiences juggling work and motherhood. The occasion gave working mothers a forum to candidly talk about the benefits, difficulties, sacrifices, and rewards of juggling work and family.

Renowned Odissi dancer Avirup Sengupta organized and led the session in collaboration with I Can Flyy Tea Kafi, with assistance from Florence, a mental health organization started by director and filmmaker Shrestha Ganguly.

In addition to honoring the incredible journeys of women who continued to inspire both at home and in their professional spheres, the event sought to foster meaningful conversation about maternal well-being, work-life balance, self-identity, and emotional resilience.

The eminent speakers who participated in the discussion were Richa Sharma– Indian actress, Riddhi Bandyopadhay– Indian musician, Smita Roychowdhury– Editor of T2, Sulogna Roy– Creative contemporary dancer, and Kanaklata Dutta– Fashion designer.

Mother’s Story Journey aimed to promote empathy, empowerment, and community among women juggling the complex roles of motherhood and work via open dialogue and personal experiences.
