Rittika Chakraborty Patil, the founder of MoveMeant Stories, organized an immersive event that uses dance, movement, and storytelling to raise awareness of mental health issues.

As the Chief Guest, Pt. Bickram Ghosh oversaw the event at Madhushudan Mancha.

Rittika Chakraborty Patil, a counseling psychologist and dance/movement therapy practitioner, founded the mind-body wellness platform MoveMeant Stories. NrityaChaitanya: The Dance of the Conscious Mind is an immersive artistic experience that uses traditional narratives, music, and movement to explore emotional well-being.

The occasion made mental health awareness a felt, embodied experience rather than just a theoretical discussion. NrityaChaitanya raised awareness about art as a means of self-expression, holistic wellbeing, and social integration by fusing dance, music, and storytelling with scientific psychology. It highlighted that art can communicate, process, bring people together, and heal in ways words cannot.

Some of the highlighting performances were:

Movement as the Language of the Soul: Under the direction of Rittika Chakraborty Patil, this demonstration presented trauma-sensitive Therapeutic Movement as a nonverbal method of regulating and healing emotions.

Aami-Swaham: This is a Kathak-Bharatanatyam jugalbandi that examines the connection between human existence, the rhythms of nature, and movement, as well as how movement influences identity and self-expression.

Bhumija: The Untold Story of a Battlefield: A dance-drama from Sita‘s point of view that draws inspiration from various Ramayana traditions. It examined inner conflict, resiliency, and metamorphosis through the lens of contemporary psychology, portraying mythological figures as mirror images of common human experiences.

Dance performances by Sandip Mallik and Jaya Seal Ghosh further mesmerized the audience.

MoveMeant Stories is a mind-body wellness platform that combines embodied practices, creative arts therapy, and psychological counseling. It promotes self-awareness, emotional fortitude, and personal growth by fusing movement, art, drama, and storytelling. The platform fosters safe, welcoming environments for recovery and acts as a cooperative ecosystem for artists and mental health professionals.

Rittika hopes to create a culture where healing becomes a common human experience based on movement, creativity, connection, and community by making therapeutic movement and creative healing techniques more accessible through The MoveMeant Stories.
