A store specializing in authentic Turkish Baklavas titled The Baklava Box was inaugurated in the august presence of Tollywood actress Moubani Sorcar, co-founders Vatsal Agarwal and Sharadh Agarwal.

While many of you might know about the Baklavas, some of you might not know about it. It is a dessert pastry made of layers of filo filled with chopped nuts and held together with syrup or honey.

A wide range of premium and exquisite wedding trays and gift boxes are on offer at the store.

The different sweets and savouries can be packed in beautiful boxes and trays, customization of the boxes are also available.

The custom made boxes are priced reasonably and one can select their favourite variant namely the Pyramid Baklava, the Square Baklava, The Almond and Date Baklava or the Mixed Fruit Baklava.

Moubani Sorcar looked excited at the inauguration of the sweet shop. “Though we have to do dieting to maintain our figure, but I will still stay that come to the shop and enjoy the wide range of delicacies. Then you hit the gym and get rid of the calories. Sweets are actually food for the soul and I am a sweet lover. I tried Baklavas in Muscat and I have been fond of them since then. The opening of the shop is a boon for the sweet lovers in the city” said the actress.

All the flavours are made with good and high quality ingredients. The store has an equally good collection of savouries, honey, tea leaves, dry fruits, gift boxes and other sweets at a very reasonable price.

The store also has authentic Indian sweets keeping in mind the huge demand for the sweets.

Vatsal Agarwal mentioned that the taste and the quality of the Baklavas are at par with the ones that you can taste in Turkey.

The new shop is located at P-47, CIT Road, Kankurgachi.
