The APAI-WB Pre-Counselling & Education Fair 2026 was held in Kolkata by the Association of Professional Academic Institutions, West Bengal (APAI-WB). This event brought together students, parents, educators, and legislators on a single platform to assist prospective students in making well-informed decisions regarding their future careers and higher education.

The fair was inaugurated by Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Education and Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Professor (Dr.) Goutam Paul, Chairman, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB), Prof. Tapas Chakraborty, Vice-Chancellor, MAKAUT, West Bengal, Sardar Taranjit Singh, President, APAI-WB, Managing Director, JIS Group and Chancellor, JIS University, Shri Satyam Roychowdhury, General Secretary, APAI-WB, Founder & Managing Director, Techno India Group and Chancellor, Sister Nivedita University & Techno India University, Tripura, Dr. Dibyendu Kar, Registrar, WBJEEB, and Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co- Chairperson Techno India Group.

The fair provided professional advice on a broad range of professional courses, including Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Management, Architecture, Computer Applications, Hospitality Management, and other industry-relevant disciplines. It was created to assist students in getting ready for admission to undergraduate and graduate programs. Through direct interactions with academic experts and representatives from top universities connected to APAI-WB, parents and students were able to learn important information about career pathways, scholarship opportunities, admissions procedures, and new trends in the industry.

APAI-WB continues to play a crucial role in bolstering the state’s higher education ecosystem as the highest authority for self-financed professional academic institutions in West Bengal. Its member institutions offer top-notch instruction, curricula that are in line with industry standards, learning that is driven by innovation, chances for research, and strong placement assistance in a variety of subject areas.
