Excitement builds in the Tollywood film industry as the upcoming Bengali feature film Ananda Ashram, directed by Ranjan Dutta and presented under the banner of ‘Maa Durga Production’, completes its final preparations ahead of its theatrical debut.

The official trailer and music for the 157-minute feature film were unveiled during a press conference attended by notable personalities from the Bengali film industry. Prominent Tollywood actors Bodhisattva Mazumdar, Shakti Dey, and Soma Chakraborty graced the occasion alongside emerging musical talents Saptak Bhattacharjee and Madhuri Dey. Speaking at the event, director Ranjan Dutta announced that Ananda Ashram is scheduled for nationwide release on July 31.

Based on a compelling story written by Amal Chatterjee, the narrative centers around an orphanage and its courageous fight against the unethical power plays of a local MLA. The storyline highlights the struggle, resilience, and resistance of the orphanage management as they stand their ground against political oppression and high-handedness.

The production team emphasized that the project seamlessly blends veteran expertise with fresh talent. The stellar cast features seasoned performers including:
