The Vasudha Kalyan Ashram Family’s varied service and public welfare initiatives were formally introduced in West Bengal with a plantation program. The creation and launch of the National Art & Culture Wing, Kalyan Bharati, were also announced at the same time.

The programme was graced by Param Pujya Gurudev Acharya Shri Paawan Maharaj Ji, Guru Maa Manorama Ji, Sadhika Sangheeta Di, Mrs. Shilpi Paul Ji, and other distinguished guests.

An idol of Maa Saraswati was given to Mrs. Shilpi Paul Ji on this special occasion. She formally took up her duties in the National Art & Culture Wing, Kalyan Bharati, after a devotional Saraswati Vandana.

Speaking to the assembly, Acharya Shri Paawan Maharaj Ji declared that the day was particularly auspicious and sacred because a sizable family of nature worshipers and devotees had assembled with a strong sense of unity. He said that Bengal had long been a place of his spiritual sadhana and that it was now becoming his Karmabhoomi, a place of committed action, thanks to the various service and welfare initiatives of the Vasudha Kalyan Ashram Family.

He declared that Kalyan Bharati would support the conservation, advancement, and broader distribution of Indian art, music, literature, dance, folk customs, and cultural heritage. Additionally, the initiative would aim to create a solid foundation for gifted artists who have been denied opportunities and suitable platforms despite having extraordinary skills.

The Vasudha Kalyan Ashram Family’s various service, cultural, and public welfare wings and initiatives would now be activated and implemented in West Bengal, it was further announced. Mrs. Shilpi Paul Ji was given the dual roles of National President of Kalyan Bharati, the National Art & Culture Wing, and President of Vasudha Kalyan Ashram Family, West Bengal.

Acharya Shri Paawan Maharaj Ji formally announced the start of the Vasudha Kalyan Ashram Family’s organized journey in West Bengal with thunderous chants in the name of Lord Shiva.

The recent natural disaster in Nepal and the growing environmental issues brought on by unchecked carbon emissions, climate change, and the swift melting of glaciers were also covered in the program.
