Great Focus On Peace At The Vishwa Shanti Yatra 2026

From the mountains of the North to the shores of the South, from the vibrant East to the expansive West, Bharat united in its extraordinary diversity to walk toward one universal aspiration: peace.
Spanning 12 states and more than 30 cities, with over 7,000 participants, the Vishwa Shanti Yatra 2026 by ABAS united citizens from all walks of life in a nationwide display of unity, harmony, and shared awareness.
This was more than just a trip across geographical borders. It was a journey through India’s rich cultural, linguistic, social, and spiritual diversity, uniting different traditions, generations, communities, and ways of life under one common message: I AM PEACE.
The Yatra embodied the enduring spirit of Bharat, a land where diversity has long coexisted within the broader vision of unity. Across regions, diverse languages, customs, attire, music, and cultural expressions converge, yet the message remains unchanged: peace starts within each person and manifests in the world.
At the heart of the movement was the powerful idea: “Antarik Shanti Se Vishwa Shanti” (From Inner Peace to World Peace). The Vishwa Shanti Yatra invited every individual to look beyond peace as merely an aspiration for nations or societies. It urged people to recognize their own role in creating a more peaceful world, the urgent need of the hourto choose peace; and when they choose peace, they begin influencing their families and communities, their nation, and the wider world.

The message I Am Peace, inspired by Prem Avaatar Maitreya Dadashreeji, has evolved into a simple yet profound affirmation embraced by people across Bharat. Through peace walks, human chains, placards, dialogues, and collective expressions, the Yatra turned this inner message into a visible public movement. The highlight of the event was the launch of the World Peace Prayer, blessed with the grace and blessings of Maitreya Dadashreeji. The prayer aimed to bring humanity together in a unified expression of peace, compassion, and solidarity, reinforcing the common duty to build a peaceful world.
Perhaps the most powerful aspect of the Yatra was the wide range of people who took part. People from various communities, professions, cultures, and backgrounds. Social organizations, educational institutions, wellness communities, and individuals from various walks of life came together in solidarity. Each city contributed its unique character, culture, and expression, together weaving a powerful tapestry of peace.
The Yatra became a celebration of what Bharat embodies: unity without uniformity, diversity without division, and a shared human aspiration that transcends every boundary.
The Yatra was non-political and faith- neutral, welcoming every individual irrespective of background, belief, profession, age, or community.
