Ten years after launching its mission to create a streaming home for Bengali stories, Hoichoi kicks off Season 10 with its broadest lineup yet, uniting beloved franchises, fresh original content, acclaimed creators, up-and -coming talents, and an expanding universe of entertainment that extends beyond streaming.

What started as a niche Bengali streaming platform has evolved into a global entertainment enterprise centered on Bengali intellectual property, encompassing streaming, content licensing, theatrical releases, branded entertainment, technology, and innovative formats. Over the past decade, Hoichoi has kept evolving while remaining grounded in a central conviction: Bengali stories can be deeply connected to their culture and still resonate across different regions, generations, and formats.

In the last ten years, Hoichoi has developed a library featuring more than 600 Bengali films and over 200 original series, extending its reach to audiences in India, Bangladesh, and global markets. The business has transformed from a subscription-based streaming service into a wider entertainment company driven by intellectual property, with its content now reaching audiences through licensing, theatrical releases, partnerships, and innovative formats.

The Season 10 lineup demonstrates that evolution through its wider scope. Featuring beloved franchises and literary adaptations, alongside gripping thrillers, supernatural tales, emotionally rich dramas, fresh emerging voices, and stories from across India and Bangladesh, the upcoming lineup offers a wide-ranging selection crafted to captivate both longtime fans and newer viewers.

The upcoming Web Series lineup includes a compelling blend of new originals and returning favorites, uniting familiar settings, original stories, and a diverse array of genres.

The line-up includes Debipokkho, Birangana 2, Kauribibur Mandir, Mangolik, Chaalchitro: The Ekchala Murders, Feludar Goyendagiri: Baksho Rawhoshyo, Tansener Tanpura: Mohonbashi, Konya, Detective Tarinicharan, Shoti, Kumari, Agambagish: Drolmar Khorgo, Kuheli 2, Jujuma, Shrimoti Not Out, Choddobeshi 2, Kanamachhi, Thakumar Jhuli 2, Uttoron: Charulata, and Shri Ramkrishna(hoichoi’s first Animated series).

The titles that are returning are Birangana, Feludar Goyendagiri, Tansener Tanpura, Agambagish: Drolmar Khorgo, Kuheli, Choddobeshi, and Thakumar Jhuli.

The new properties include Debipokkho, Kauriburir Mandir, Chaalchitro: The Ekchala Murders, Konya, Detective Tarinicharan,  Shoti, Kumari, Jujuma, Shrimoti Not Out, Kanamachhi, Uttoron: Charulata, and others.

The television slate will feature Katha-Amrito, starring Madhumita Sarker and Arjun Chakrabarty, and Sholaka Rawhoshyo, starring Trina Saha.

The hoichoi Studio’s film line-up include Maharaja Tomare Selam, directed by Srijit Mukherji, featuring Jeetu Kamal, Ritwick Bhowmik, Rudranil Ghosh, Sairity Banerjee, Shatakshy Nandy and Arijit Dutta; The Eken: Kerala-e Kurukshetra, directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, featuring Anirban Chakrabarti, Ritwick Chakraborty, Raima Sen, Somak Ghosh, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Arna Mukhopadhyay, Subrat Dutta and Kamaleswar Mukherjee; Jononi, directed by Parambrata Chatterjee, featuring Koel Mallick, Koneenica Bandyopadhyay, Parambrata Chatterjee, Joy Sengupta; and Bhugun, directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, featuring Abhishek Banerjee, Parno Mittra, Loknath De, Subrat Dutta, Ridhhi Ghosh, Aryaa Ray, Tota Roy Choudhury and Rajesh Sharma.

Bangladesh has also become a key component of Hoichoi’s Bengali storytelling universe, as the platform keeps investing in local creators, stories, and productions. The Bangladesh slate unites seasoned and up-and-coming talent, enhancing Hoichoi’s capacity to narrate stories throughout the Bengali-speaking region while expanding its audience base on both sides of the border.

This ongoing collaboration with both seasoned and emerging talent across India and Bangladesh remains at the heart of Hoichoi’s creative vision, uniting renowned creators, up-and- coming directors, new performers, and unique voices that broaden the horizons of Bengali storytelling.

Though Bengali remains central to Hoichoi, the platform is increasingly aiming to extend Bengali intellectual property beyond language and geography. Via dubbing, licensing, adaptations, theatrical releases, and collaborations, stories originally produced on Hoichoi are gaining access to new audiences throughout India and global markets.
