South City International School hosted a special Classical Musical Session, bringing together the school’s young musicians for an evening celebrating the richness and diversity of Indian music.

The highlight of the session was a captivating classical fusion group performance by 60 students of South City International School, performed under the group name Taal Tarang. Mentored by Mr. Arindam Burman, the students presented a vibrant blend of classical musical traditions and contemporary elements, showcasing their dedication, coordination, and passion for music.

The performance provided the students with an opportunity to explore the depth of Indian classical music while expressing themselves through a dynamic group presentation. The synchronised performance reflected their extensive preparation and teamwork, while creating an engaging musical experience for the audience.

Mr. Vishal Bhandari, Principal, South City International School, said, “Music fosters creativity, discipline, self-assurance, and emotional expression, all of which are critical components of young minds’ overall development. Sixty of our students performed as Taal Tarang, which brilliantly showcased their commitment, collaboration, and love of music. Our students were able to investigate classical traditions while presenting them in an engaging fusion format under the guidance of Mr. Arindam Burman. We applaud their efforts and hope that these kinds of chances will keep motivating them to reach their full creative potential”.

The program demonstrated South City International School’s dedication to giving students chances outside of the classroom and inspiring them to interact with India’s rich musical and cultural legacy.

The students showed how traditional musical forms can be explored through creative interpretations while maintaining their cultural essence through Taal Tarang. The young musicians and their shared love of music were celebrated as the performance came to a grateful close.
