The shooting of the upcoming Bengali film Ebhabei Galpo Hok directed by Rohan Sen took place recently at a studio in Joka.

Apart from the director the cast members consisting of Joy Sengupta  and  Rupanjana Mitra graced the shooting.

Joy Sengupta plays the role of a director who is moving out of his comfort zone and trying his hands at making a love story. He used to make thriller films earlier. Since there is a crisis in his own life, he finds it extremely difficult to make a romantic film. He thinks of a story and starts telling his assistant the story. This is what is shown in the film. The love story depicted is very ordinary and nothing out of the blue.

The director is making his debut in feature films with the film. He has done short films before.

Rupanjana plays the role of the director’s wife Kotha. “She loves her husband very much and is a devoted wife. Often people shower their professional frustrations on their loved ones. During one such fight with her husband, Kotha venges out her inner feelings. What happens next?” said Rupanjana.

Shantilal Mukherjee, Bibriti Chatterjee and others will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

The film will be released in August/September or after Durga Puja.
