“মা: The Unsung Hero,” a celebration of mothers who influence their children’s lives, was presented by Belghoria TOUCH, a non-profit NGO that has been working to empower underprivileged communities in the Sundarban for 18 years.

Some of the highlights of the event were Children’s heartfelt stories about their mothers’ contributions and sacrifices, citations for mothers’ exceptional work, motivational tales of mothers conquering obstacles, Cultural events and special performances, followed by the felicitation of the guests.

Some of the guests who graced the event were Mumtaz Sorcar, Moubani Sorcar, Debolina Dutta, Joyshri Sorcar, and others.

To help mothers in need, a percentage of the proceeds will be given to local old-age homes.

A grand initiative indeed.
