A Special Event Curated For The Kids Of Prayas

Social activist Abhyuday Dugar and legal professional Vivek Jhunjhunwala hosted a special magic show and dinner for the kids of “Prayas”—an initiative headed by renowned dancer and choreographer Avirup Sengupta—that resulted in a magical evening of warmth, wonder, and celebration. In support of children with special needs, the carefully planned event brought together art, compassion, and community.

Distinguished guests like Dr. Devlina Kumar, Madhabilata Mitra, and Papia Rao graced the evening, joining the kids and guests in a setting full of happiness, support, and genuine connection. The event showcased the outstanding work of Prayas, in which Avirup Sengupta uses dance and artistic expression as an effective means of fostering self-belief, emotional health, and confidence in special children.

Filmmaker Shrestha Ganguly, who received recognition for her noteworthy contributions to art and social consciousness, was one of the evening’s highlights. She launched Florence, a mental health publication that aims to promote deep discussions about creativity, emotional health, and mindful living. Dr. Devlina Kumar officially launched the magazine, which was a major turning point in Florence’s efforts to raise awareness of mental health issues.
Celebrating the transformative power of art, empathy, and teamwork in creating inclusive spaces where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired, the evening skillfully combined entertainment with purpose.
