Aakash Aath announced the launch of a daily devotional mega serial, Sri Guruveh Namah recently.

The cast and crew members of “Sadhak Ramprasad” consists of Sougata Sarkar (Protagonist), Kushal Chakraborty, Chaitali Dutta Burman, Somjita, Sriyansh Chowdhury, Chandraniv Mukherjee, Mrinal Mukherjee, Debasish Roy Chowdhury, Rupsa Bhattacharya, Gouri Sankar Panda, Arijit Guha, Swagata Basu.

Sougata Sarkar said “I know how to sing and act. So the channel authorities thought I will be a good actor to play this role. I have acted in many Aakash Aath serials before. And working with them is a pleasure always. For the research, I have read books about him. The main thing is to understand the man and believe in him. And that is what I am doing to portray the character”.

The first story in the series will be based on the life of Sadhak Ramprasad. This will be followed by stories on the lives of Ramthakur, Sri Aurobindo, Swami Pranabananda Maharaj, Annadathakur, Anukul Chandra, Balak Brahmachari, Baromaa, Loknath Baba among others. ‘Sri Guruveh Namah’ is directed by Mr Falguni Sanyal.

Every story will be a combination of periodical drama mixed with historical facts that includes thorough research and factual presentations.

The serial will be aired from 16th January, 2019, every Monday to Saturday at 6.30 pm. Every episode of the mega will focus on the lives of gurus and mystic saints of India.
