Aakash Aath Announced Two Mega Serials-Umar Sangsar and Nati Binodini
Aakash Aath announced the launch of two mega serials namely Umar Sangsar and Nati Binodini recently.
A press meet was organized to announce the launch which was attended by Ashok Surana, Chairman, Aakash Aath, Eshita Surana, Director, Aakash Aath, Kamalika Banerjee, Anindo Sarkar, John and others.
Nati Binodini traces the life of the legendary theatre actress Binodini who is hailed as the best actress of her time. She became the face of all the theatres written by play writer Girish Ghosh. The director of the serial is by John.
Swagata Sen, Oishani Dey, Monoj Saha, Ananya Sengupta, Sarbari Mukherjee, Kushal Chakraborty and others. The screenplay is by Rakesh Ghosh and Debjit Roy has composed the music of the serial.
Umar Sangsar narrates the story of a woman who handles her family with perfection. Uma played by Kamalika Banerjee is the eldest daughter-in-law of a joint family where she lives with her husband, daughter, mother-in-law, brother-in-laws and other members. Kanka, the elder sister-in-law of Uma was a victim of cruelty and became mentally disbalanced. Uma goes against her family and tries to find out the culprit.
The serial is directed by Anindo Sarkar, the story and screenplay is by Mon Chakraborty and dialogues are by Upashana Chowdhury.
The serial stars Kamalika Banerjee, Ashmita Mukherjee, Sarbani, Sumanta Mukherjee and others in pivotal roles.
“Aakash Aath has always supported new ideas and stayed away from the conventional saas-bahu sagas shown on the other channels. These two serials will again follow that trend. While Nati Binodini will trace the life of Binodini, my serial is a contemporary one. Both John and I hope that the audience loves both the serials equally” said director Anindo Sarkar.
Jagat Janani Maa Sarada will once again be aired from 11th March 2019, every Monday to Wednesday at 9.30 pm. Arpita Mondal portrayed the role of Maa Sarada while Suman Kundu played the role of Ramkrishna Paramhansadeb.
Both the serials will begin airing from 11th March onward, every Monday to Saturday. Umar Sangsar will be aired at 8 pm and Nati Binodini will be aired at 6.30 pm.
