Aakash Aath’s New Mega Serial Hoyto Tomari Jonno
Aakash Aath has come up with a new mega-serial Hoyto Tomari Jonno to make your Valentine’s Day special.
Hoyto Tomari Jonno is a love story between Aditya Narayan Lahiri (Jeetu Kamal) and Janhabi Banerjee (Sampurna Mondal). Aditya is a popular lawyer and his father Shib Narayan Lahiri (Biplab Dasgupta)is a judge, his mother Sutanuka Lahiri (Chaiti Ghoshal) is a social worker while his sister-in-law Swati (Sayantani) is a working woman. Janhabi is from a middle-class family and stays with her mother Anupama (Chumki Chowdhury), who is a nurse by profession. She also has two sisters Ruhi and Sumi. Adi meets Joyee during a case and wins the case against him. How their love blossoms overcoming all adversities is what the story all about.
Speaking at the press meet, Jeetu Kamal said “I am honored that I am a part of this serial as the story is unique and I will be sharing screen space with such renowned actors. We have shot some episodes and I am enjoying playing the character that I play in the serial”.
Chaiti Ghoshal who plays Sutanuka in the serial said “I have worked in many channels in different serials. However, I can say that this serial is really special as the storyline is not like the contemporary serials that you watch. The ay Aakash Aath has been making serials has also been retained in this serial too”.
Sayatani who is working for the first time with Aakash Aath was enjoying the homely vibe on the sets. She was also happy that she was playing a good daughter-in-law as opposed to the scheming characters that she often got to portray.
Sampurna Mondal who will be seen as Joyee was more than happy to be part of this project. The actress was having a good time shooting for this serial and also stated that sharing the screen with such renowned actors was a huge learning experience for her.
The cast of the serial consists of Jeetu Kamal, Sampurna Mondal, Chumki Chowdhury, Chaiti Ghoshal, Biplab Dasgupta, Krishnakishore Mukherjee, Sayantani Sengupta, Palash Ganguly, and others.
The serial will begin airing from 15th February 2020 on Aakash Aath, Monday to Saturday at 7.30 pm.
