The official trailer of Abar Rajneeti has been released recently.

The story is set in the period after the death of Rathin Banerjee. Now Bijpur’s MP post is empty. Election Commission announces a re-election. Rashi goes back to Rijpur to discover the grisly truth about the enigmatic monk. However, she becomes entangled in a labyrinth of lies and power conflicts ahead of the approaching by-elections when an unexpected return of a family member who was thought to be dead occurs.

The director of the series is Sourav Chakraborty.

“There is a proverb in Bengali that two kings will fight and common people will get killed in the process. However, there is a process of electing a king. And that involves many conspiracies and many deaths as well. There is only a throne while contenders for the throne are many. Similarly in our story, there is a continuous shift in the dynamics of politics. Who is the friend or enemy?” said the director.

The music has been composed by Amit Bose and Yash Gupta.

The cast of the series consists of Kaushik Ganguly, Ditipriya Roy, Koneenica Bandyopadhyay, Arjun Chakrabarty, Shyamal Chakraborty, Aniruddha Gupta, Debojyoti Roychowdhury, and Madhurima Basak.

The series will premiere on 24^th May on Hoichoi.
