Abir Chatterjee and Srijit Mukherji was present at Eye Catchers at their South City Mall outlet to promote their upcoming Bengali film Shahjahan Regency.

The film is based on Shankar’s famous novel Chowringhee and is set in modern times. The cast of the film consists of eminent actors like Swastika Mukherjee, Anjan Dutt, Anirban Bhattacharya, Rudranil Ghosh, Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee and others.

“I have reinterpreted the famous novel of Shankar in a new way. Without reinterpretations, stagnation comes and that is not good. I just hope that the audiences appreciates our efforts” said the director.

The film’s trailer and the songs have been getting much appreciation from the audiences.

The film is eyeing for release on 18^th January.
