Cake mixing is a European tradition that is done days before Christmas. Canteen Pub & Grub started off the cake mixing season by hosting its annual Cake Mixing Ceremony. Renowned Bengali actor Hritojeet Chattopadhyay, along with invited guests, and the pub’s owner Swastik Nag was also present.

The cake-mixing process began with the guests receiving aprons, gloves, and Santa caps.  Following that, the chefs, other members of the pub’s staff, and guests gathered to mix the ingredients.

The fruits and nuts were placed in a large container, and the spirits were poured over them. The mixture was then tossed and turned until they were completely saturated with the spirit.

Christmas décor and live singing added immensely to the camaraderie of the event.
