Due to the river Ganga‘s significance to both our Hindu faith and the history of India, our ancient sages started the custom of expressing thanks and gratitude to her.

We come together for Ganga Aarti in a spirit of celebration, reverence, and peace, letting go of the worries, stresses, and tensions of daily life. Since hundreds of years ago, people have been honoring and giving thanks to the Ganga, and in some areas, like Rishikesh and Banaras, they still do so today.

More than 3000 locals attended the Aarti that Param Pujya Swamiji Chidanand Saraswatiji (Munji) and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji (Parmarth Niketan Rishikesh) from Rishikesh performed by raising massive brass lamps.
