Amazing Campaign To Promote Menstrual Hygiene Management In Schools

The Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) crisis in schools is a serious one, and Solace Group of Companies has launched an incredible effort to address it, with an emphasis on students in Classes VIII and IX. This effort was a response to the widespread evidence that schoolgirls worldwide lacked the support, resources, and facilities to adequately manage their menstrual cycles. Lack of these resources is a neglected social, educational, and public health concern that necessitates coordination and prioritization.

The official inauguration was graced by Sobhan Mukherjee, the PADMAN of Bengal & social worker, Prakriti Chakraborty, “The Fitness Wonder”, winner of Regional Yoga Olympiad 2023, Jiban Saha, Councillor, KMC Ward – 57 and Ayan Chakraborty, President of Taki House Boys’ and Councillor, KMC Ward – 28.

This campaign’s main goal was to increase public awareness of the difficulties schoolgirls encounter during their periods as well as the possible dangers and repercussions of inadequate MHM instruction. In terms of providing adequate and correct information and practice on MHM, a large number of girls continue to lack education.

The main goal and motto for this project is to educate and encourage girls to incorporate sanitary napkin usage as a regular habit.

Through such a noble initiative, girls will be more aware of their health issues and take ample steps to take care of their health.
