Amazing Live Performance Of Dr. Kumar Vishwas In Kolkata

On April 5, 2025, in Science City, Kolkata, the Rotary Club of Salt Lake Metropolitan (RCSLM) will host an evening with Dr. Kumar Vishwas. In order to support transformative community initiatives, professionals and change makers will come together for this exclusive event that combines poetry and philanthropy.
Established in 2008, RCSLM is a CSR-registered service club with over 25 distinguished members committed to humanitarian causes, including physicians and social leaders. Numerous lives have been improved by the club’s significant projects, which centre on sustainability, livelihood, and healthcare.
Dignity in Mobility, which has donated 550 wheelchairs, and Project Prayaas (Muluk), a hospital-on-wheels that provides essential medical care to underprivileged communities, are two important initiatives. With a target of 15,000 more, Matri Raksha, a flagship project that addresses anemia in women, has already helped 5,000 women. Five thousand cataract patients have had their vision restored by Andhere Se Ujala.
In addition to providing healthcare, RCSLM empowers people by offering vocational training in driving, electrical work, and bedside assistance. While Project Gowshaala has given 20 families in Mathurapur milk-yielding cows for a steady income, Project Swabhlamban has assisted 550 jobless youths in making a living through rickshaws and cycle vans. By constructing 60 inexpensive restrooms and seven rainwater harvesting ponds, Project Dignity has enhanced rural sanitation and enabled Amta to engage in multi-crop farming. To provide clean drinking water in the Sundarbans, the club has also installed three water filters.
In the future, RCSLM intends to establish Shoring the Shores, a project to plant 2.5 lakh mangrove saplings in Gadkhali, safeguarding embankments and local livelihoods, and expand Matri Raksha with 150 health camps.
An Evening with Dr. Kumar Vishwas will raise money for Shoring the Shores and Matri Raksha, which will have a long-lasting effect on environmental sustainability and healthcare. RCSLM invites individuals, corporate sponsors, and media partners to support this admirable cause and participate in an evening of significant change and cultural innovation.
