Amazing Photographs On Display At 5th Edition Of Imaging Orthopods

With the 5th Annual Photography Exhibition, Imaging Orthopods, a group of renowned senior orthopaedic surgeons from Bengal, once again welcomed the city into a world where art and science collide. These medical professionals had another quiet passion outside of operating rooms and hospital hallways: photography.
Every frame in the exhibition was more than just a picture; it was a reflection of eyes that find beauty in fleeting moments, hearts that comprehend human stories, and minds trained to observe.

The exhibition this year was devoted to the loving memory of Dr. Gautam Basu, whose life exemplified the fine line between artistic sensibility and medical precision. With each picture on display, his legacy continued to glow subtly.
Gracing the press conference were eminent guests like director Anjan Dutta, actor-host Mir Afsar Ali, actor Chandan Sen, Debashis Sen, Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department, Government of West Bengal, Dr. G. G. Kar, editor Arghya Kamal Mitra, and many more.
Speaking at the occasion, Mir said, “It is amazing to see that orthopaedic doctors can think of something else apart from treating patients. It is fantastic to see that they have such an amazing eye for beauty. It is inspiring for many of us that even after working for such long hours, these doctors have remained true to their passion”.

Chandan Sen said, “Kids these days are not connected with Nature. They have become detached from Nature. It will be great if they could again find their attachment to nature by looking at these beautiful pictures. I sincerely hope that happens from this exhibition”.
Dr. Indrajit Sardar, Dr. Aniruddha Kirtania, Dr. Bhaskar Das, Dr. Arnab Kundu, Dr. Kunal Sengupta, Dr. Chinmay Nath, Dr. Abhijit Sarbabadhikary, Dr. Malay Mandal, and Dr. Debasis Chatterjee also graced the occasion.
