Irrespective of our age, we all like magic. Films on magic or involving magic have been made all over the world. Bengali director Raja Chanda will now be casting his spell with his dream project titled Magic.

Ankush Hazra and his real life love Oindrila Sen will be seen as the lead pair of the film. This film will mark the debut of this lovely pair on the silver screen.

Payel Sarkar will also be seen in a crucial role in the film. Her role is not disclosed at the moment by the team of Magic. Raja Chanda’s wife Paean Sarkar will also be seen in an important role in Magic.

Debshankar Halder and Bidipta Chakraborty will be seen in the role of Ankush’s parents in the film.

Magic is a thrilling tale of two people going through major ups and down and then not knowing it particularly. Some of the characters and the audience go through a psychological path whereas a different sub-plot develops with a bigger impact to drive in a magical Anticlimax.

During 2012 Raja Chanda was shooting for Challenge 2 and the actress was shooting in the next floor. He saw her and was impressed with her devotion. He immediately found her look suitable for the screenplay.

Savvy and Dabbu are composing the music.

The screenplay has been penned by Arnab Bhowmick and Raja Chanda.

Magic is being produced by SSG Entertainment under the leadership of Suman Sengupta.

The mahurat of the film was organized recently.

The movie will be shot in various parts of Kolkata (Indoor and Outdoor) and the shooting began from 6^th of August 2020.
