The film Anmol is about a middle-class couple, Paras and Aankhi. They are overjoyed when their kid is born. However, their joy is for a small time as they realize that their kid is intersex. They struggle to come to terms with reality. Can the couple overcome the uniqueness of the kid, and can they overcome the societal barriers?

The press conference of the film was attended by director Priyanka S Saha, producer Radhieka Loya, and actors Daas Biswajeet and Vaishnavi Rana.

The director of the film is Priyanka S Saha. She said, “The story is about acceptance. The socially misfit thing becomes a big thing. The validation from parents is a big thing for the children. The validation from society is not that important. The major challenge was that I am not a member of the LGBTQ community. Intersex is a biological issue. LGBTQ is a call. So I did comprehensive research for my film so that I did not present any wrong facts”.

Radhieka Loya is the producer of the film.

The music has been composed by Rajath Ra.

The cast of the film consists of Daas Biswajeet and Vaishnavi Rana.

Hindi film Anmol was part of the Competition on Indian Language Films at the 31^st Kolkata International Film Festival.

The film is 99 minutes long.
