Every school regularly hosts annual concerts. Every school makes every effort to make it as vibrant and amazing as they can. But what makes Oxford High School‘s yearly concert in Howrah so exceptional that it stands out from the others?

Renowned Actor/Activist/Teacher of Method Acting, Bobby Chakraborty was specially invited, as the ‘President’ of Oxford Utsav 2024, by S. C. Dubey, the hon’ble Rector and Chairman of Oxford High School at Sarat Sadan Auditorium, Howrah Maidan.

“Through my Anti Addiction Campaign and other initiatives, I have maintained a close and long-standing relationship with Oxford High School for more than ten years. 100% Indian ideals, culture, and customs are embodied in Dubey Sir’s creation, Oxford Utsav. Every year, it attempts to surpass the cultural extravaganza by giving awards to every student who has excelled in a variety of academic and extracurricular activities. It’s a sincere attempt to honor and recognize their parents, very accomplished former pupils who are bringing honor to their school, and all worthy educators who have influenced these students’ lives and personalities” said Bobby Chakraborty.

The official photographer of the event was a very hardworking and dedicated soldier of mine named Sandeep Yadav from class X.

The enchanting yoga performance, the scout and guide performance, the karate demonstration, and the song and dance pieces showcasing the diverse cultures of the several Indian states were all breathtaking to witness.

The primary cause of Oxford Utsav’s success is Dubey Sir’s incredibly committed, truthful, diligent, and innovative team. With the active assistance of their parents, the children, instructors, and non-teaching staff put in months of preparation to make the occasion one to remember.

The multi-talented Srijani Naskar of Class X won the coveted award of ‘The Student of The Year’.

A great initiative indeed.
