Annual Sports Meet Of Saraswati World School Showed Great Athletism
Saraswati World School held its Annual Sports Meet, showcasing athletic excellence, teamwork, and school spirit, with a series of thrilling competitions attended by students, teachers, and parents.
The event was inaugurated with the garlanding of the Late Saraswati Deviji, who is the school’s inspiration.
This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Vice Chairman Mr. Vinod Singh and Director Mrs. Sneha Singh. The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Miss Tuhina Maity, a renowned student-athlete and Kabaddi champion, and Guest of Honour Miss Aratrika Chakraborty, a multiple gold medalist in karate and a record-holder in the India and Asia Book of Records.
Both guests emphasized the significance of sports in shaping well-rounded individuals and promoting mental and physical strength. The day began with the hoisting of the school flag, anthem, and pyramid oath-taking ceremony by the school captains. The Vice Chairman handed over the flare to the School Captain.
One highlight was the “Go as you like” event, where Pre-Primary and Classes 1-5 students showcased their creativity and energy through imaginative costumes and fun activities.
The school held a variety of track and field events, including sprints, relays, and long jumps, attracting students from various classes and houses. Fun sports like crawling, frog jumping, toffee race, and cock fight added excitement. Karate skills were also displayed, demonstrating the school’s emphasis on physical education.
A flare run led by the School Captain was a thrilling moment, with parents participating in an exciting race event. Winners received special prizes.
The day concluded with a fun “Pass the Ball” game for teachers, promoting team spirit and camaraderie, and prize distribution for winners.

– Other winners: Abhinav Singh, Vanshika Ghosh, Ratul, Harshit, Akanksha Jadav, and many others.
