Apollo Hospitals Organizes Special Event To Celebrate Children’s Day
Children’s Day is observed nationwide to honor children and raise awareness of their welfare and education. A special event for kids was held at a few Apollo Hospitals across India on Children’s Day to highlight a child’s right to health. Apollo Hospitals is one of Asia’s largest and most reputable healthcare organizations. The pediatricians, nurses, and staff engaged in a variety of games and activities with the children as they welcomed children who had been Apollo family members as patients to a specially decorated area of the hospital.
The kids and their parents visited a separate area of the hospital that had been given a fresh makeover for Children’s Day. The program included games that kept the kids’ attention while simultaneously teaching them about health. In the activity “Know Your Organs,” kids played a modified version of the Four Corners kid’s party game and responded to questions on several organs, including the heart, lungs, bones, muscles, eyes, nose, and brain. The pediatricians also provided advice to the parents on how to raise a healthy child.
Both the parents and the kids expressed their joy at being a part of a pleasant event that also taught them a lot about the critical facets of a child’s health. On sticky notes that were adhered to a particular board, the kids wrote imaginative phrases as a way to show their happiness. Following the enjoyable activities, the kids and their parents were given scrumptious, healthy snacks and were sent on their way with a gift basket that the kids loved. But not before taking a group photo with the medical professionals and crew to memorialize the joyous moment!
The event was a small token of thanks to the parents and children for putting their trust in the hospital.
