Applications are being accepted for the Vidyadhan scholarship program at the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF), which was established by Mr. S.D. Shibulal, co-founder of Infosys, and Mrs. Kumari Shibulal, patron.

This was announced at a press conference in Kolkata. It was graced by Pankaj Tripathi, Uma Shankar Rao, and Srija Mitra Thakur.

Students who come from economically disadvantaged homes and make less than two lakh rupees a year are eligible for the award. West Bengal state students should have received more than 80% or an 8.0 CGPA in their tenth class (65% or 6.5 CGPA for students with disabilities) in their matriculation examination for the year 2024.

 The chosen pupils would be qualified for an Intermediate scholarship worth Rs 10,000 each year. They would receive funding for degree courses ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 75,000 annually if they performed well. By July 10, 2024, those who meet the requirements may apply online by visiting www.vidyadhan.org or using the SDF Vidya app, which is accessible through the Google Play store.
