Director Arindam Basu’s next is a Bengali web-series for Netflix, titled Boxed.

The edge of the seat thriller has been produced by Drishtishree Films Pvt Ltd & Ava Films and Entertainment. The season one has six episodes.

Featuring Rano Joy in the lead role, paired with Amrita Chattopadhyay, the series has Rachel White, Parijat Chakraborty, Sandip Bhattacharya, Biplab Bandhopadhyay and newcomer Sushmita Mukherjee in other important roles.

“I am playing the female protagonist. The character is complicated and compact. Arindam da had told me about this long back. So feels great to be part of this finally,” said Amrita.
