This is a Hind-Punjabi romantic song. A wife waits for her soldier husband. However, due to the nature of his work, he is unable to come back to his wife. The wife longs for him and misses him. At the end of the song, they meet each other.

The music has been composed by Shounak Ghatak. The song has been sung by Subhra Paul.

Based in Qatar, Subhra began her musical journey at a young age. She learned music under the guidance of her mother Jayanti Bhadra. She was then trained in classical and semi-classical by singers like Alpana Roy, Sipra Bose, and others. Despite living abroad for so many years, she has retained her love for her mother language.

Arindam Sil directed the video of the song. The director said that he did not direct the video because he knew her from before. But he directed it simply because it was a good song and it deserved to be listened to by the audience.
