Arjunn Dutta’s Deep Fridge Explores Divorce & Its Repercussions
Divorce can be difficult and complicated. The need for love and companionship that exists in our brains has been honed to last till one is predisposed. Both Swarnava and Mili fall prey to this vile, prejudicial notion of a truly happy marriage in “Deep Fridge”. Will they be able to get past their divorce and view things more clearly in an effort to create different futures for themselves that are fair to Tatai, their only kid, without feeling guilty?
Director Arjunn Dutta’s next film Deep Fridge was announced recently.
“I’ve always been a good observer and found social dynamics fascinating. Although divorce is more prevalent than ever in today’s society, we still avoid talking about it. I’ve observed nearby couples who were unhappy in their relationships and eventually filed for divorce. Yet one thing has always fascinated me: Does the spirit of the previous connection fully fade away or does it endure forever somewhere deep inside the heart? The path of such a couple with a child after their divorce is therefore chronicled in “Deep Fridge” said Arjunn Dutta.
The story of the film is also by Arjunn Dutta.
Produced by Colors of Dream Entertainment, the cast of the film consists of Abir Chatterjee as Swarnava, Tnusree Chakraborty as Mili, Debjani Chatterjee, Anuradha Mukherjee, Shoaib Kabeer, and Lakshya Bhattacharya as Tatai.
The screenplay is by Arjunn Dutta & Ashirbad Maitra.
The music will be composed by Soumya Rit.
The shooting of Deep Fridge will begin soon.
