Artificial intelligence (AI) alters the green energy sector by increasing efficiency, lowering prices, and developing smarter, more environmentally friendly energy systems. As the globe tackles climate change, artificial intelligence (AI) is playing a critical role in hastening the transition to a clean, reliable energy future. Keeping this in mind, today Future for Nature Foundation and New Bengal Consulting (NBS) organized an International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) ‘s role in empowering Green Energy’s future.

Gracing the occasion were Prof. Kamal Sarkar, Jadavpur University, Smt Suchandra Sengupta of Microsoft, Dr Sohini Bhattacharya from Rice University USA, Prof Binot K.Chowdhury IISWBM, Shri Sandeep Sengupta Director ISOAH, Shri Sudipta Mukherjee MD TEXMACO, Shri Sanjeev Sinha President India Power, DR Amit Kumar Das Dean, IEM Consultancy Services, Shri Sumanta Sarkar, Director Lithium Pills, Shri Debashish Sen IAS & Founder CEO NBS, Dr. Swati Nandi Chakraborty president of Future for Nature, Environmental Economists & other dignitaries.

The afternoon panel discussion focused on how AI can drive green energy innovation. More than 100 students from Calcutta University, Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, and IEM College Kolkata attended the afternoon session, obtaining significant insights and knowledge.

Artificial intelligence is changing green energy by optimizing electricity generation, storage, and utilization. It forecasts renewable energy output, improves grid efficiency, and maintains stable storage.

Real-time analysis eliminates waste, while smart appliances adjust to user behavior to save energy. AI monitors carbon emissions, promotes sustainable urban planning, and facilitates decentralized systems such as peer-to-peer trade and microgrids. It also promotes innovation, resulting in long-term growth through data-driven policy and investment decisions.

Some of how AI is revolutionizing the green energy sector are as follows:

1. Optimizing Energy Generation

2. Enhancing Energy Storage

3. Improving Energy Efficiency

4. Lowering Carbon Emissions

5. Enabling Decentralized Energy Systems

6. Accelerating Innovation

7. Informed Policy and Investment Decisions

Thus, the entire session finished with the message that AI is more than simply a technological tool; it is a game changer in the green energy sector. AI is enabling a cleaner, more sustainable future by optimizing energy generation, boosting storage, increasing efficiency, and supporting decentralized systems.
