Arunima Ghosh Launches Traditional Silk Sari Collection at Nameg
In the presence of actress Arunima Ghosh, the latest collection of traditional silk sarees was launched at Nameg. Also gracing the occasion was Namita Dashora, Rupali Barua, and Meghali Barua Lahiry, the owners of Nameg. The store Nameg is named after Meghali and Namita.
The collection showcases best-handcrafted products from different parts of India. The saris have been brought from South India and made from the best silk fabric and adorned with exquisite embroidery work. There are also handloom saris that fit any occasion.
Kalamkari, Mangalgiri, and a variety of saris from Varanasi, Tamil Nadu, Telengana, Rajasthan, and others will also be available at this boutique.
Speaking at the occasion, Arunima Ghosh said “I love cotton saris and one of the best things about this boutique is you get every kind of saris for every kind of budget. I love Benarasi saris too but not the heavy types. I like the lighter ones that can be easily worn. I got them at Nameg. I also loved the kalamkari and the Assamese saris on display”.
The boutique is spread over an area of 3200 square feet over three floors.
The price of the saris begins from Rs 1500 while the jewelry collection starts from Rs 500.
