Tollywood actors Abir Chatterjee and Arunima Ghosh graced the inauguration of the latest Asian fine dining restaurant in Kolkata, Friends of Pho.

Also present at the occasion was Geetika Sinha, the brain behind this Asian food joint.

During Geetika’s journey to different parts of Asia, she had brought back memories from that region. This is what has been reflected in the food, the textures and the bright decor of the food joint.

Kokeshi dolls from Japan set in motion functioned after the prayer wheels from Tibet is also part of the decor of the food joint.

Since there was a dearth of food joints in this part of the city, Geetika inaugurated the food joint here.

Abir Chatterjee said “I have a liking for Thai food and the range of food available is awesome. A great outlet for the food lovers”.

The food joint is spread over an area of 3500 square feet. The menu consists of dishes from Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Burma, Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore.

There is also a special Dimsum menu offering a wide choice to the customers.

Located at Chinar Park, beside United Bank of India, the restaurant is open from 12 pm to 11.30 pm, Monday to Sunday.

The pocket pinch for two will cost Rs 1200 plus taxes.
