Atiul Islam’s Film Kisalay Throws Light On Reality Of Indian Education System
Director Atiul Islam’s upcoming Bengali film Kisalay deals with the harsh reality of the education system in today’s times. Are marks everything? Is the mark sheet the only thing that a student needs? Excessive study pressure has been leading many students into stress and depression.
The trailer and song launch of this film took place in the presence of the director, Debleena Dutta, Debraj Mukherjee, and others.
The cast of the film consists of Debleena Dutta, Sudip Mukherjee, Debraj Mukherjee, Sudipta Chakraborty, Vivek Trivedi, Fahim Mizra, and child artist Adrija Mukherjee.
Sonu Nigam, Jubin Garg, and Indrani Banerjee have sung in this film. The music has been composed by Amit Mitra and M. Rahaman.
The story has been penned by Tanvir Kazi.
The director mentioned that his film delivers a message for society. The message is especially directed at the parents. Due to the excessive stress, children in India are ill-treated and their passion and creativity take a backseat. They are just becoming robots. The burden of education and the increase in homework form the main crux of the story.
