Oberoi Mall hosted the star cast of the much-awaited movie RRR at PVR Cinemas, Oberoi Mall, Goregaon for the trailer release of the film.

S.S. Rajamouli, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, N.T. Rama Rao Jr, DVV Danaya, and Jayantilal Gada graced the trailer launch event.

Alia Bhatt said that it was a magical experience for her to be a part of director Rajamouli’s film. She never expected it to come true. She also was looking forward to the release of the film.

Ajay Devgan in his role in the film said that some characters that the actors play are special. One such special character that he played was Bhagat Singh. He will be seen playing an intense role in the upcoming film RRR.

The director Rajamouli said at the trailer launch event that the audiences are not expecting another Baahubali from him. They might want an experience similar to Baahubali. The director was well aware of the immense pressure on him and this film. The moment the audience enters the hall, their expectations will be high due to their past experiences with Baahubali. He felt that the audiences will be invested in the film.

The director said that if the director believes in their storytelling, they do not have to worry about the language. Language is a medium for communicating. The visuals help in telling the story. He chose Ajay Devgan not only because he knew him for a long time but because he suited the role well. After the 15 minute narration, Ajay Devgan accepted to do the film.

The film is eyeing for release on 7^th January 2022.
