Chhayanat Kolkata organized the launch of the CD “Jana Ojana Nazrul” at Rabindra Okakura Bhavan, Salt Lake. The CD has been brought out by Chhayanat to mark their ten years journey.

Before one understands Nazrul’s works, it is very important to know about his life and under what circumstances he created such masterpieces. With that idea in mind, this CD has been made.

The audio CD consists of many known and unknown facts about the life of Kazi Nazrul Islam. It also contains details about the wide variety of works that Nazrul did in his lifetime.

The facts in the CD have been penned down by eminent Nazrul researcher, Bangladesh Kobi Kazi Nazrul Institute’s Trust Board Chairman, Dr Rafiqul Islam. The CD has been directed by Somerita Mallik. The narration has been done by Sumantra Sengupta and Madhumita Basu.

The CD was inaugurated in the presence of Pradip Ghosh, Pandit Mallar Ghosh, Syed Hasmat Jalal and others.

The CD is marketed and manufactured by Questz World. The price is Rs 150.
