The autobiography of legendary football player Late Subhash Bhowmick titled Goal was released recently.

Gracing the occasion was co-writer Supriyo Mukhopadhyay, actor Debshankar Halder, veteran football player Shyam Thapa, Arjun Bhowmick, Maitrayee Bhowmick (son and daughter of late Subhash Bhowmick), and Diptangshu Mondal, Proprietor, Deep Prakashan.

Chaiti Ghoshal and singer Saikat Mitra also were present at the book launch event.

Speaking at the event, Shyam Thapa said “It will make for an interesting read. Many football fans will come to know about the inspirational life of this amazing football player and many readers will come to know about the disciplined life he led. It will be a motivating and inspiring book for the readers”.

The 251-page autobiography that is co-authored by Supriyo Mukhopadhyay contains various glimpses of the colorful life of Sri Bhowmick including a few controversial issues.

The book is published by Deep Prakashan and is priced at Rs 270/-.
