Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who has made a name for himself in India with his innovative, disruptive films, has received an invitation to attend this year’s Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscars)!

Academy President Janet Yang and Academy CEO Bill Kramer expressed their excitement about inviting this distinguished group of professionals, artists, and technologists to join the Academy. “These incredibly gifted people have left a lasting impact on our global filmmaking community through their dedication to filmmaking and the larger film industry,” added  Bill.

For their contributions to motion pictures and cinema, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited renowned artists from around the globe. Powerhouse performers and actors like Gillian Anderson, Ariana Grande, Kamal Haasan, Mikey Madison, Jeremy Strong, and Kieran Culkin are just a few of the people that Ayushmann joins.

The world has always praised Ayushmann for his groundbreaking films, which he has consistently utilized to subtly support the development of his country. He received two honors from TIME Magazine: the prestigious TIME100 Impact Award 2023 and the renowned TIME100 list, where he was selected as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World! Additionally, Ayushmann is the Ambassador of UNICEF India, where he tirelessly promotes the protection of children’s rights.
