The music launch of the upcoming Bengali film Balaram Kando was a star-studded event. Gracing the event were director Saptaswa Basu, Lagnajita Chakraborty, Durnibar Saha, Aishwarya Sen, and many others.

The cast of the film consists of Gargee Roy Chowdhury, Rajatava Dutta, Aishwarya Sen, Apratim Chatterjee, Arya Dasgupta, Prasun Saha, Sandeep Roy Chowdhury and others.

Speaking at the music launch, Aishwarya Sen said “This was my first time in Nainital and I made the most of the time I had. On my first day there, I took a tour of Nainital and I was mesmerized by the beauty. After watching the songs, I am also eagerly waiting for the film to be released”.

The film is produced by Papiya Chakraborty, Joydeep Mukherjee, Uday Modi, and Bipasa Lahiri.

Tara, also known as Tarangini Mukherjee, is a marriage counselor. She and her husband, Kishore Sanyal, have been apart for almost 12 years. Their daughter, Abantika, or Avni, has grown up on her own and does not have a strong connection to either of her parents. Tara receives unexpected calls from her family one day after work, telling her that Avni has arranged to get married at a stunning resort in Nainital. However, Kishore and Tara are both ignorant. After all these years, Tara decides to come back in touch with Kishore, and the two of them resolve to go to the hills together and prevent Avni from making a snap decision. After arriving at Balaram Bungalow, Tara and Kishore attempt to disrupt the wedding through a series of comedic mishaps. What happens next?

The screenplay and dialogues are by Arnab Bhaumik.

The film will be released on Holi 2025.
