Bandhan Bank inaugurated a new branch in Boral, Garia and took its bank branch count to 994. The new branch opened near the Rakshit More in Boral. The bank already had 370 branches in the state. With a network of 3,014 Doorstep Service Centres that the Bank already has, the total number of banking outlets now stands at 4,008. The Bank has its presence across 34 of the 36 states and union territories in India.

Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, MD & CEO, Bandhan Bank, said that in FY 2018-19, they had received approval from the RBI to set up 64 new branches of which they opened 48 by March 2019. The balance branches are being opened in this quarter.

As on March 31, 2019, Bandhan Bank served 1.65 crore customers and had deposits worth Rs.43,232 crore and its loan book stood at Rs.44,776 crore.
