Bandhan Bank Opens Its New Branch in Burrabazar
Bandhan Bank opened a new branch in Burrabazar, Kolkata recently. This took the bank branch count to 981. By the end of this month, the Bank plans to open five more branches which will take its branch count to 986. With a network of 3,014 Doorstep Service Centres that the Bank already has, the total number of banking outlets would be 4,000 by the end of this month. The Bank has its presence across 34 of the 36 states and union territories in India.
By the end of the week, the Bank would have opened eight new branches across Bhuvaneshwar in Orissa, Barasat in Kolkata, Raipur, Gurugram, Lucknow and Varanasi.
By end of March 2019, Bandhan Bank will have 4,000 banking outlets and 480 ATMs. As on December 31, 2018, Bandhan Bank served 1.53 crore customers and had deposits worth Rs. 34,639 crore and its loan book stood at Rs. 35,599 crore.
