Bangaliana Fair Celebrates Cultural Diversities Of Bengal
The lively traditions of Bengal are honored in the Bangaliana Fair, which commenced on April 16, 2023, at Baguihati.
The event is scheduled to take place from April 16 to April 23.
Distinguished dignitaries including Aditi Munshi, a Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly and an Indian singer, Krishna Chakraborty, the Mayor of Bidhannagar, Biman Banerjee, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of West Bengal, veteran actresses Sabitri Chatterjee, Madhabi Mukherjee, and Lily Chakraborty, all attended the inauguration.
Through a variety of events, performances, and displays, the fair will highlight Bengal’s rich cultural history.
At the inauguration ceremony, a rally with participants dressed as vintage Bengali fictional figures took place.
The eight-day festival will include a variety of events, such as performances of traditional music and dance, handicraft exhibitions, food booths providing regional specialties, and cultural seminars. Through interactive exhibits that highlight the culture, history, and cuisine of Bengal, visitors will have the chance to experience the richness of the country.
The fair’s handicraft expo, where craftspeople from all across Bengal will display their handmade goods and demonstrate their talents, is one of its key draws. Visitors are welcome to observe the intricate work of local artists and buy their goods straight from them.
The food stalls will display a huge array of amazing Bengali dishes.
Visitors of all ages are invited to the Bangaliana Fair, which promises to be a fun occasion and a special chance to get a glimpse of Bengal’s colorful culture. The event is free and open to the public.
