Trial Period, an upcoming movie from Chrome Pictures that will make its Jio Cinema debut on July 21st, is a sweet story of unusual familial ties.

Written and directed by Aleya Sen, the film boasts of a stellar cast consisting of Genelia Deshmukh, Manav Kaul, Shakti Kapoor, Sheeba Chaddha, Gajraj Rao, Swaroopa Ghosh, Barun Chanda, and Zidane Braz in significant roles.

The creators recently released the entrancing song “GoleMale,” which uses the metaphor of a small ant trapped in jaggery (gur) to wonderfully express the essence of love.  The rich folk traditions of the area are honored by this Baul anthem, which comes from Bengal. Kaushik-Guddu has expertly recreated the music, and the lyrics are taken from the vast collection of Traditional Folk songs.

Renowned artists such as Shreya Ghoshal, Dev Negi, and Kaushik-Guddu have lent their voices to this song. The song has also a rap portion by Guddu. This has added a contemporary twist to the song and infused it with a fresh energy that will resonate with audiences of all ages.
